One of the significant parts of growing old is wisdom. One might ask, what is wisdom? This writer believes wisdom is accumulated knowledge brought on with an open mind throughout life’s journey. Wisdom cannot be learned, it must be acquired by processing life’s events and learning from them.
Youthful knowledge VS Worldly Wisdom
In my 76 years of life, I have traveled to the far corners of the earth. I have witnessed firsthand the poverty, destruction, pain, and suffering brought on by communism, socialism, and Islamic rule. It pains me to watch today’s youth support the terrorist activities suffered by Israel at the hands of Hamas. These activities have been brought on by nativity learned from academia and radicals we have brought into this country from other parts of the world. No person who has been privy to the horrors of the Holocaust of WWII, the innocent of the wars since then would ever celebrate this latest tragedy. As an American who also witnessed 9/11/2001, I am appalled by the demonstrations supporting Hamas in this country and other parts of the world.
It is blatantly obvious that our education system has failed our youth. For those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Today we tear down statues of our past heroes, curse God, and replace God by somehow believing we humans are equal to or the creator. The world has turned upside down. Do you think for one moment that these radicals would not strike you down also? Have you studied or even looked at their culture? A culture that would take away all the rights that you have today. If you are a female or a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you would become subject to the seria law. I believe you need to do your own research and not rely on the teaching of some radical college professor for your information.
As I write this the scenes of Rodney Dangerfield in the movie Back to School where he is telling it like it is in the real world come to mind. Academia has not lived what they teach therefore have plenty of knowledge but not a lot of Wisdom. Living life, experiencing, and learning from it go a long way to knowing right from wrong. From one who has never seen the inside of a college classroom but has experienced damn near the full spectrum of life wake up youth of the world study history and learn from it so you won’t have to relive it. Trust me, it won’t be pretty!
For American Youth
For the youth of the United States of America, let me add everyone born here and every citizen you should be on your knees every day to thank God for the blessing of being born in the USA. You live in the greatest country on earth. A country whose government was founded/formed based on Christian – Judeo principals and values. You live in a place that has more rights and freedoms than anywhere else on earth. Wake up America, you are very close to losing those rights and freedoms. If you continue to vote for freebies, giveaways and erosion of your rights, you and the country are doomed to failure. The social experiment called socialism has never worked on a large scale. An outgoing tide lowers all boats. The only gainers are those holding the bow lines.
