You often hear from the mouths of those on the left side of the political spectrum that democracy is on the ballot. In the United States general elections at all government levels, we agree. But not for the reasons they would like to have you believe. Ask yourself this question. If I am for open and free elections, why would I be against voter ID? Is it because the oppressed cannot obtain identification when one is required to board an airplane or buy cigarettes or alcohol? Or is it because I do not want to know the identity of who is voting? We are sure that there have been cases of voter fraud on both sides of the political aisle, but only one side fights against voter ID. Democracy can only survive if the citizens of the democracy are honest, vote once and only once and have proof of their right to vote. If ballot boxes are continued and ballot harvesting survives this democracy is DOOMED and painful and certain death. The forces of evil are out to destroy what is good in this world and will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal. The United States of America is the only nation on earth that was formed under Judeo-Christian values from it’s onset. Our forefathers were fleeing from out-of-control governments and religious persecutions.

The preamble to the US Constitution read, “We the people of the United States in Order to form a more perfect union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessing of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

You might note that it does not say to form a ‘perfect union’. Our forefathers realized that perfection may be out of the realm of possibility. In my nearly 77 years on this earth, I have not found one perfect person in this country. But most of the successful ones have strived for perfection but found it impossible to achieve. I have traveled to far corners of this earth and have yet to find a perfect country, but for most of my life, the United States of America, by far, comes the closest. My fear is now we have some who believe perfection is achievable, and they are hell-bent on “fundamentally changing America to achieve it. In my opinion, they are dead wrong and will only be successful in putting the final nail in the coffin of Democracy.
